Newcastle once again proved a popular choice as thousands of fans enjoyed soaring temperatures and some fantastic games over two days. The city now has four of the five biggest attendances in Magic Weekend history.

Children’s charity, Barnardo’s is the first to benefit from NE1’s Geordie Jackpot, the local lottery, and the generosity of the people of the North East. NE1 Ltd’s Chief Executive, Adrian Waddell, presented a cheque for £1,500 to the charity on Wednesday 2 May.
