Free, open-air movies and sporting action to be enjoyed by the whole family throughout the school summer holidays

NE1 Ltd, the Business Improvement District Company for Newcastle City Centre, the company responsible for Alive after Five, the Quayside Seaside and Newcastle Restaurant Week, unveiled its ambitious plans for a third term today, Thursday 24 May, inviting the city’s business community to give their views on the priorities set for the next five years and to support NE1 in its BID renewal.

Representatives from the North East’s business community welcomed and played host to the new Indian Consul General, Dr Aman Puri on a diplomatic visit to the North East on Monday 14 May 2018.

NE1 Ltd, Newcastle City Council and local businesses proudly set the spade in the ground on Monday 21st May to start the much-anticipated redevelopment of Newcastle’s historic Bigg Market.
