Subscribers to the local lottery, NE1’s Geordie Jackpot will have their generosity rewarded in August when NE1 Ltd unveils its ‘Grey Street Gathering’, a new, tranquil pop - up park on Grey Street in Newcastle, paid for by money raised from the Geordie Jackpot. The park is being launched as NE1 calls on more people to play the local lottery to deliver more exciting projects for the city.

As if exhibiting some of the world’s most exclusive, expensive and rare cars on the streets of Newcastle wasn’t enough – NE1 Newcastle Motor Show will be extending its free Fan Zone area making the weekend event, a truly family fun extravaganza. The two-day event on 4 and 5 August will take over most of Newcastle city centre with something for everyone to enjoy, a highlight being the intu Eldon Square Fan Zone which will return to Old Eldon Square for the duration of the event.
